Thankfully, with the transition out of Dr. Cacciamani’s living room and into a proper office came a new prospect. “We discovered 911 IT when we moved into our new office building,” Caitlin explains. “Adam’s dad, Kelly, owns Voice in a Cloud, and when they came to put our phone system in, we got talking about our other technology needs, and they recommended 911 IT. And it’s a good thing they did, because 911 IT has been integral to the growth and success of our organization since then.”

At first, Caitlin and her team at House Call Doctors would only contact Adam and 911 IT for break-fix computer solutions. That was, until about five years into the partnership when they landed a huge contract and needed help with specific security and compliance requirements. “We were given the opportunity to bring a new health plan on board, but they had this whole huge list of security questions, encryption, and all this stuff that they demanded to ensure the data was secure,” Caitlin recalls. “So we called 911 IT, and that’s when a new kind of pitch came in where Adam and his team outlined their worry-free IT package and all the extra stuff they could do for us.” She continues, “This process was definitely an eye-opener. There were a lot of things that we didn’t even know that we needed, but as soon as we heard it, we’re like, ‘How did we not do this before?’”

An Incoming Clinic

With all of the day-to-day technology solutions handled, the House Call Doctors team has been able to focus on their next venture—expansion! “I’m excited to announce that House Call Doctors is relocating to a new building,” says Caitlin. “We’re still going to be providing in-home patient care, but now we’re also opening up a clinic where people can come in and see our doctors in-office. We just received so many phone calls from patients looking for primary care doctors that we thought, ‘Why don’t we help fill this gap?’” Regarding how Adam and his team will be helping with this next stage, Caitlin explains, “911 IT will be in charge of everything to do with tech, of course. They’ll be wiring our workstations, setting up printer locations, and ensuring that our Wi-Fi boosters send a strong signal throughout the office. They will also be setting up the TV in our conference room.”
